Casco Industries Storm Windows

Omaha Door & Window is proud to offer Casco Industries Storm Windows designed to be installed over existing wood, aluminum, or aluminum clad windows to provide homeowners with additional energy efficiency, weather protection, and noise reduction. Storm windows with Low-E coating on the glass increase energy savings by reducing solar heat gain in the summer and keeping your home warmer in the winter. Casco’s Aluminum Storm Windows are custom-built to your specifications with heavy gauge aluminum extrusions for structural integrity and durability. ODW offers (3) Casco Storm Window models: Fixed Picture Window Storms, 2-Track Double Hung Storms, and 2-Track Oriel Double Hung Storms. Casco Storm Windows are available in (5) glass options, (3) screen styles, and (31) painted color choices plus customized colors, mill finish, and clear anodized finish. All Casco Storm Window models carry a one-year factory warranty as well as Omaha Door and Window’s two-year installation warranty.

• PetScreen is tear and puncture-resistant for enhanced durability to prevent damage by dogs and cats and is the preferred screen for use in high-traffic areas.  PetScreen includes Water Shed Technology™ and Microban antimicrobial product protection to stay clean longer.
• BetterVue Insect Screen for improved visibility.  Bettervue includes Water Shed Technology™ and Microban antimicrobial product protection to stay clean longer. 
• Cardinal LoE x89 Glass to reduce heat transfer and maximize energy efficiency.  LoEx89 Glass has an exterior surface coating called indium tin oxide which reduces outdoor glass condensation.  LoE x89 Glass also has a titanium dioxide coating which keeps the exterior glass surface cleaner for a longer period
• LoE i89 Glass for UV Protection designed to bounce heat back to the source
• Tempered Glass for Safety (Required on all single glass panes over 15 sq.ft.)
• Obscure Glass Options for different levels of Privacy while still allowing light in.  Styles available:  Satin Etch, Rain, & Pattern 62 Stipolite  
• Tinted Glass to reduce glare is available in Grey, Bronze, and Green.
• Plexiglass– Clear Acrylic as an alternative to glass inserts
• Die Cast Metal Corner Keys and Latching Hardware for increased durability and longevity
• Frame Stabilizer Bar or Mullion System exterior mounted to reinforce the window frame and improve structural stability
• Color-matched 1-1/2” Sill Expander in two different heights to accommodate uneven sills and provide a visually attractive appearance

Slider windows include metal latches only with PVC corner keys due to the sliding nature of the storm window.

Frame Stabilizer Bar

Optional frame stabilizer bars on double-hung windows help ensure the frame is properly set up and supported for larger windows.  Optional for all windows, but included by default on larger windows, a frame stabilizer bar is key to increased durability and longevity in the window.
