There are some local Garage Door dealers with shady business practices. Here are three things you should look for.
- They will use deceptive yellow page ads by advertising under several alias names using many different phone numbers, but listing no address.
- They will not quote a total repair price over the phone to get into your home. They will quote a low hourly labor rate without telling you the total repair cost.
- They charge exorbitant prices for new parts you don’t need with the promise of a lifetime warranty. That repair could be higher than the cost of a whole new garage door.
