This uses a low-pressure, high-volume air system to raise and lower the platform. An electric blower motor fills an air bladder that raises and lowers the platform. Poweramp PR Heavy Duty Dock Leveler
This incorporates the use of hydraulics to raise and lower both the platform and lip. Features such as structural steel support, inspection plate, locking toe guards, and deck-mounted pump and motor provide convenient access for routine inspection, increasing user performance, value, and safety. The hydraulic Fluid Logic system is a marvel of simplicity. Poweramp HM Heavy Duty Mechanical Dock Leveler

The unit is powered by extension springs and guided by the CamControl counterbalance system for smooth operation. Poweramp CM Mechanical Dock Leveler
This uses box construction. The platform is reinforced and supported by full-length rolled-formed “C” channels. Poweramp CM Mechanical Dock Leveler features a one-year warranty on all structural and mechanical parts. Poweramp Edge-Of-Dock Dock Leveler (EOD)
This is used when the working range of a full-size, pit-style dock leveler is not needed. Rely on Poweramp EOD dock levelers to service your dock equipment needs. Available in hydraulic and mechanical activation, all Poweramp EODs provide smooth operation. Poweramp EOD attaches to the existing dock edge without having to pour a concrete pit, allowing for a low-cost, self-storing edge-of-dock dock leveler.
Poweramp PowerHook II Truck Restraint
This is the only unit available that stores in the pit, completely concealed and out of the way. This is a great advantage when clearing the driveway approach of snow or debris. The Poweramp PowerHook II Truck Restraint seeks, finds, and maintains a tight, continuous hold on the ICC bar throughout loading and unloading operations, eliminating “trailer creep”. It is designed to withstand a pulling force of 35,000 lbs., giving you an extra margin of safety and protection. The Poweramp PowerHook II Truck Restraint operates within a 20” vertical range from 10” to 30”, and its horizontal range is 1” to 15” from the building. The DockAlert three-light communication system is standard with the Poweramp PowerHook II Truck Restraint to help prevent accidents.
Poweramp PowerHold Surface-Mounted Truck Restraint
This is a non-impact, self-aligning hydraulic truck restraining system. It is designed to locate a truck’s ICC bar and applies continuous pressure to restrain the vehicle firmly. Because constant pressure on the ICC bar is maintained, no safety gap exists and trailer creep is eliminated. Poweramp PowerHold Surface-Mounted Truck Restraint has been tested to withstand more than 20,000 lbs. of force. The service range is from 12” to 30” above grade from the point of installation. The DockAlert two-light warning system is standard to help prevent accidents.
Poweramp Accessories
You can customize your dock seals and shelters with a choice of six different fabrics available in many colors. Wear pleats are available in 4″, 8″, and 16″ exposures. Other dock accessories include dock lights, garage door track protectors, wheel chocks, reflector guide stripes, rubber dock bumpers, breakaway garage door bottom section, and weatherstrip for your old dock leveler.

Fairborn Series 1000 Foam Dock Seal
This is used at facilities that require the most complete seal available and are not concerned with infringement into the trailer opening. These models are the most used in the industry. These units can be used on doors that are nine feet wide or less. The 1000 model is a three-sided foam compression seal and provides the best seal possible. This model should be used when the dock height and the door height combined are thirteen feet or less off of grade. Fairborn offers fabrics in a wide range of colors and performance levels. Dynalon is Fairborn’s exclusive fabric with the ultimate in tear and abrasion resistance and superior weatherability. Dyne-Armor Pleats, reinforced side pad, and weighted drop curtain are some of the fabric options available.
Fairborn Series 1400 Foam Dock Seal
This has foam compression sides with a fabric head curtain. This model should be used when the combined dock and door heights are higher than thirteen feet off of grade. A hood-style head curtain seals the rear of the trailer, accommodating a variety of trailer heights. Cover fabric and options are similar to Series 1000.
Fairborn Series 2000 Rigid Dock Shelter
This is designed to accommodate a wide variety of door and trailer sizes while providing full access to the trailer interior. Features include 3-M Scotch Ply Stays in the side and the head curtains, overlapping wear pleats sewn to the head curtain, and a select kiln-dried factory-painted wood frame. Frames are covered with translucent fiberglass, allowing natural light penetration. Dynalon is Fairborn’s exclusive fabric with the ultimate in tear and abrasion resistance and superior weatherability. Dyna-Armor’s overlapping durable fabric panels at critical wear areas of the head curtain increase the life expectancy far beyond industry standards. The Series 2000 includes foam bottom pads and two heavy-duty steel channel supports.
Fairborn Series 2200 Soft Sided Dock Shelter
This is designed to accommodate a wide variety of door and trailer sizes while providing full access to the trailer interior. Soft sides prevent damage from an off-center trailer. The structurally supported head member is made of translucent fiberglass to allow natural light into the loading operation. Features include 3-M Scotch Ply Stays in the side and head curtains, overlapping wear pleats sewn to the head curtain, and a select kiln-dried factory-painted wood frame. Dynalon is Fairborn’s exclusive fabric with the ultimate in tear and abrasion resistance and superior weatherability. Using a Federal test (standard 191), Fairborn Dynalon Fabric was far and away the winner of every important measure.
