There are some local Garage Door dealers with shady business practices. Here are three things you should look for.

  1. They will use deceptive yellow page ads by advertising under several alias names using many different phone numbers, but listing no address.
  2. They will not quote a total repair price over the phone to get into your home. They will quote a low hourly labor rate without telling you the total repair cost.
  3. They charge exorbitant prices for new parts you don’t need with the promise of a lifetime warranty. That repair could be higher than the cost of a whole new garage door.
