If your garage is attached to the house—especially near a bedroom—we usually recommend a belt drive. They are just as strong but whisper-quiet, so you won’t wake the whole house when you leave early in the morning.

Do I need to buy a new opener with my new door?

Not always. If your current opener is in good working shape and is compatible with the new door’s weight and size, we can often reuse it.
